Classically Cut

Barber, Business, Woodland

I like to think about getting a good clean cut as renewing your confidence. And every two weeks I’m here at Main Event Barbers for a trim and a beer for breakfast. Because what I need is more confidence and beer, right?

I stopped by the day before thanksgiving and caught some of the action. Tag a friend if you see them! LINK HERE

Happy Birthday!

Happy Bday Cain!Super excited that we were able to make these happen. Weather wasn’t our friend the first go round but we caught a break Friday morning. Thanks to the entourage of assistants who helped keep the birthday boy smiling.

And the push car came out AWESOME !

Rudy Mendoza Class of 2017

Graduation, Sacramento, Woodland

We couldn’t have picked a better day to take photos! I’ve been wanting to shoot here for some time and love that it’s so close to home.

Rudy was a natural in front of the camera even with the occasional distraction of weirdos parousing around the bridge while we shot what quickly turned into my new favorite work.

Congrats to the Rudy and the Mendoza family. We’re all excited for Rudy walk across the stage and be a graduate of Christian Brothers Class of 2017.

Football season, finally.

Sports, Woodland

It feels like a lifetime that we’ve been able to watch football. Why does this season seem so short? Blink an eye and your kid crossed the goal line, hope you didn’t miss it.

Well you won’t necessarily have to miss it. If you see a big guy with Ray-bans, a killer mustache and a camera, then make sure you stop by the galleries section of my website and treat yourself to a digital download or order a traditional print or canvas.

See you on the field!

New Web Page!

I’ve been working on a new web page that will make it easy to share my favorite photos, schedule a session online, and hopefully make it easier to get in touch with you.

Take it for a spin and let me know your thoughts. Odds are you’ll see someone you recognize. If you do, feel free to tag them!

Luv is the middle name

August 5th is my true calendar year. I can’t remember much before that.  And so another year flies and each day more of her individuality and personality comes out and she makes me proud (even when she’s being a creep). Blessed for the past 8 years and I’ll be  taking my time enjoying what’s next.

Remi Luv, I love you.

Bap Notes

Music, Sacramento

Some stills from a session with The Bap Notes at “Live on Broadway” on 19th/Broadway in Sacramento. Chill vibes, shades of blue, touch of soul, and a whole lotta Bap. Thanks to my man Rod Nice for inviting me out.
